Aircraft Detailing

Aircraft detailing is a critical maintenance process that restores and protects your plane’s interior and exterior. Services range from a $300 to $500 basic exterior wash for small aircraft to $100–$500 per hour for comprehensive detailing, involving only strict, aviation-grade cleaners to prevent damage and corrosion.

Our Process

Aircraft detailing is a rigorous, top-to-bottom restoration process that uses aviation-safe products and protocols. It is split into two primary phases: the exterior wash, polish, and protection, followed by interior sanitization and deep cleaning.

1. Exterior Detailing

Preparation:  Perform a walk-around inspection to note existing damage. Securely cover or seal all critical sensors, antennas, and ports (such as pitot tubes and engine/APU plugs).

Pre-Wash & Spot Cleaning: Pre-rinse the aircraft to remove loose debris. Treat stubborn spots—like hydraulic fluid, bug impacts, and exhaust soot—using specialized solvent-based cleaners.

Washing: Wash the aircraft using low-pressure systems and pH-neutral, aviation-approved cleaners. Start from the top (windshield and roof) and work your way down to the belly to avoid streaking.

Brightwork & Polish: Machine or hand-polish metal components (like leading edges and engine inlets) to prevent corrosion. Restore faded or oxidized paint using mild compounds and polishing pads.

Protection: Apply a UV-blocking aviation wax or ceramic coating to protect the paint and preserve aerodynamics.

Windows: Clean all Plexiglas or acrylic windscreens using dedicated, ammonia-free products to prevent scratching and fogging.
